Paris - Sep 2024
I recently extended a work trip to Paris into a photography excursion. What started as a few days in the Paris office became a five-day stay, with two days dedicated to exploring.
During my time off, I explored the city centre with my camera. I visited well-known landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Napoleon's tomb, as well as the areas in between.
Paris proved to be a good location for various types of photography. The iconic architecture provided plenty of opportunities for cityscape shots, while the streets offered chances for candid moments. While the photos I captured were not my best work, they gave me a great opportunity to do something I love.
Not everything went smoothly, however. For the weekend portion of my stay, I booked a hotel that turned out to be extremely poor quality. It was reminiscent of Fawlty Towers... but much worse.
Despite this issue with accommodation, the trip was great. Combining work travel with personal interests allowed me to capture a mix of Parisian life.
